Itchy ...?

The right side, inside lip near the opening of my itches. It's not all over, just a small spot...it's really annoying. I have never had a yeast infection...could this be one? My discharge is a bit smelly too, but it (discharge) typically changes when I'm about to start my period. Also, I'm on Yasmin birth control pills, could this be the cause to it? Thanks!
