Why do people call my boyfriend a child molester?

I'm not a 5 year old.I'm a C-cup woman.He's not a criminal.Age is just a number.Yes,I understood the statutory idea.But child molester ?Come on, I'm a fully developed 16 yo girl and he's a normal man not a perv.I'm sick of all the stupid rules.Sick of all the gossip.
